Censorship issues on DeviantART regarding pro-nazi art

Hello again everyone. My last post got locked for some obscure reason. To my knowledge, there was no reason for doing so. Is this the DeviantART we want? A community where the high-ranking officials get to decide what is OK and what isn't?

To me, this draws parallels to totalitarian dictatorships such as Soviet Russia, Cambodia, Cuba and other similar countries where the individual and his rights are cast aside so that the leaders may have their way. I believed we practised freedom of speech in this community. I believed that a deviating view on what is accepted was encouraged. I believed that this site was a safe-house in the ';politically correct' world.

Ask yourself, how long is the step from banning pro-nazi content to banning pro-communist? And from pro-communist to the 'regular' left-wing politics? If we don't take action now, we will be caught in a 1984-like society before we know what happened. Would you like to have a surveillance camera watching you, every second of every minute of every hour of every day?

That is why I now urge all of you, to publish more pro-nazi art! We must do this, to keep our freedom! Because if we don't, and if this thread is locked, the 13th of May 2008 will forever be known as the day democracy died.

Dude, this is a website, not the government.

To me, this draws parallels to Hitlers Gestapo and SS.

Bear, of “Bear in the Big Blue House” fame, guides your child through the current learning adventure, which features a specific theme that drives the various stages of intercourse.
This is true.

That's the way it is. Its a business, not a democracy.

I doubt DA not being cool with pro-Nazi artwork will lead some kind of Orwellian society. I think the ramifications for not allowing Nazi stuff you mentioned are greatly exaggerated.

Plus, Nazis suck.
