China? You're not actually fooling anyone except your population, who wants to believe your bullshit because it makes them feel benevolent.

Tibet? You're probably not going to get Tibet back 'cause the rest of the world wants China's money and investment opportunity.

Now all of you shut the hell up and leave me alone.

And I don't care if you disagree with my off-the-hip bullshit simplification. It's twelve-thirty in the morning, I just got back home and replied to a week-old thread I'd forgotten about, drank a bloody mary, and am trying to convince myself to go to sleep.

Therefore I'm in a foul mood and wanted a reason to piss and moan.

I see one of two things happening. They either subjugate everyone and impose stricter laws and effectively cut off all non-chinese contact, or Tibet eventually gains freedom. Like.. 100 years from now.

I dunno what's going to happen. From what I've heard the younger generation is getting fed up with this peaceful stuff and is protesting more vociferously, which will only give the Chinese Army an excuse to crack down upon them. Or, they might gain independence in the far future: problem is, the population of Chinese vs. native Tibetans will probably be unbalanced. And then it will turn into Israel version 2.0! *shot* ...I'm in a bad mood tonight, sorry.
