I was getting ready to box up some old clothes I didn't want to give it to good will. I got a box from work and walked through the door. My grandma joked around a bit and then when I told her what it was for she flipped. "NO YOU HAVE AUNTS THAT COULD HAVE THOSE". Fair enough. The fact that I've had those clothes gathering dust in my closet for weeks now should be a valid argument that they've had time but whatever. But no, she keeps going.
"YOU'RE SO SELFISH!"
"YOU MIGHT WEAR THEM LATER"
"BLAH BLAH BLAH"
For the love of God. I don't WANT them because I don't like them. My aunts have more clothes than I do and if I don't even wear half my clothes what makes you think they do? Why give them more? They don't need those clothes! Not when there are people with NO decent clothes.
Apparently my logic "doesn't make sense" and I'm a selfish brat. Now there's a few things wrong with this. First of all, they're MY CLOTHES. Usually I wouldn't think this but this bitch just the other day said "YOU GAVE IT AS A GIFT SO IT'S THERES NOW" when I tried to take back a game I had given my brother a week ago back (because he was refusing to let me play it). This isn't the first time she's pulled this version of her hypocricy. The other day when I tried to sell some old games I don't play she threw a little 3-year-old tantrum about how I'm ungrateful and how she'll never buy me or let me buy any games again, because she "put a lot of money into buying those games". Apparently it's there's so long as she isn't the one giving. God...
As for the selfish comment, WHAT?! I'm selfish because I care to give to people less fortunate? I give clothes to my aunts all the time, we have a little thing going where we trade back and forth. But I've seen their closets. They wear maybe a fourth of whats in there. I don't feel like adding to that. She does this with everything. Whenever I want to give something to someone less fortunate: food, money, whatever, even if I have plenty to give away, it's the same. "YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT RESOURCES TO DO THAT!"
Shoot me now. I feel like getting rid of all my humanity points.
