Why do I get no critism?

No matter what I do people always seem to not bother looking, but never tell my why I'm so bad. Any ideas what is putting people off me?

1. Try to add some different color tones, shading and such.
2. A bit more detail wouldnt hurt
3. You might try experimenting with a differnt medium, that generally helps me out.

There's the option when submitting a deviation to have a note to viewers that says you encourage critiques.
You can post your artwork in the Deviation Thumbshare forum and ask for critiques.

And then there's this: FAQ #56: How can I get noticed on this site?

I have tried commenting on random peiople's work. But people are rarely into returning the favour

If you want people to check your works you should:
  1. Check the FAQ #56: How can I get noticed on this site?
  2. Be active in Forums
  3. Be active in the community commenting on other people's works
  4. Chat on dAmn in the #thumbsshare chatroom (FAQ #294: What is dAmn? )
  5. Use the Thumbshare Forum and ask people for serious critic


The more people you manage to bring to your userpage and the most chances you have to get some critic. Plus as =nokari said there's the option where you can choose what kind of critic you want to receive for your artworks.
