My name's Oriana Varas and I'm a journalism student at the University of Victoria writing a feature article about copyright infringement and photo-sharing websites' access to photographers' work. I'm looking for people who have been involved with copyright issues in the past (or are currently facing them) and are willing to share their experiences.
I'm not necessarily looking for someone whose work was appropriated by a corporation, but I'd love to get a chance to speak with those who've faced something like this, even if it was just with an individual.
If anyone is willing to talk about their experiences, or have general comments about DeviantArt or similar sites in relation to this issue, I'd love to hear those as well.
