colour high lighting tool

anyone know of an editor with a easy to use colour highlighting tool? i used to use picnic till it shut down and now am struggling to find a editor that i get along with to do this effect

If you want to edit your photographs for free download GIMP [link] (not a dodgy link it stands for Graphic Image Manipulation Program).
It's open source and mimics to a reasonable level a lot of the functions in Photoshop (using layers, effects etc).
I'd say that editing pictures using paint is not really the way forward.
I also have some firmly held, but non-repeatable in polite company, views on the use of selective colour. :facepalm:
Perhaps using GIMP or Photoshop will open a few more creative doors for you.

thank you :) im trying to learn different editing techniques starting with ones that look easy-ish, im not one of these people that can learn by reading books very well soo im trying to self teach but playing about with things so any advice you can give would be greatly welcomed :) iv got photoshop atm and will try downloading gimp

just found a reallllllly easy way to do this in paint >.< it was soo simple lol think iv got my monday morning head on today :)
