How to get into wedding photography or model photography

For model photography, go to modelmayhem.com and start finding models to work with. Set up shoots and practice a ton.

For weddings start bringing your camera to events and taking images while you are there. Before even considering charging to shoot a wedding be VERY comfortable making great exposures and ensure you have redundancy in your gear. (If you screw up a wedding that is grounds for a nice fat lawsuit so be sure you are very proficient before doing one). A good way to learn is to assist or second shoot for another wedding photographer
