Help~ Choosing macro filter

MeaninglessDream Nov 16, 2012  Hobbyist Photographer
So I want macro filter and I found this one-

example: Filter Hoya Close-up 67mm HMC.

What the underlined word supposed to mean? Is it diameter or something like that?

sorry for my stupidity

And if you know good filters(macro, ND, half-graduated) please advise me

the underlined number should match that of your lens or else it won't fit, lol :)
It's the thread size/diameter. If you have multiple lenses with different sized front elements, look at the largest lens. If you are dead set on getting screw on filters, get one that fits this lens and a set of stop down rings to fit it to the rest.
