I'm trying to start on DSLRs.. and I couldn't decide which one. I'm thinking of Nikon D3100/D3200/D90 and was wondering if D3200 and D90 are really worth their price..
Or you could give me suggestions on other cameras..
Since you are looking at Nikon the D90 has a lot more options but I believe it is on the way to be replaced. So the D3200 would be the better of the two for you.
If you also want to look at other companies look into Canon or Olympus or Pentax or Sigma... There are several out there but it is up to you what you get just make sure you won't be behind the curve on learning how to use the system.
I would highly recommend the D3200. You don't need to take pictures at 24 MP, but the advancements in that model over the D3100 are noticeable, and I don't think it makes sense for you to start with the D90.
What are your priorities, and what do you want to photograph? Is it a hobby, or are you planning to start a business? Does video matter to you? Are you ever going to be making and/or selling prints? Do you know the basics of camera function (ISO/shutter/aperture trifecta, white balance, RAW vs. JPEG)?
