When going specifically to meet with a client, it's better to have printed portfolio, although it's a good idea to have them on your phone or something that's always with you, since you never know when you'll meet a potential client.
There is a big difference between an 11x14 printed portfolio and a small digital display. For commercial clients I use the former, for showing to friends and people you meet at a bar, I use the latter.
Going to go ahead and second paper being a better alternative to any tablet. Gives a better impression than "Hey, look at these pics I happen to have on my phone."
recently i've been thinking about going to cretin markets to offer them a commercial photography concepts ..
and now im looking for a decent budget device that gives me the good lookin photo style
more like an ipod touch white version since i can't afford the ipad .. i think it gives the very good impact i need
what would you go for ?
