What inspires you the most?

Most people who I talk to say that it's looking at other people's artwork, or taking a really good photograph themselves and then being inspired to create such a great image again.
However other people I know can just be listening to a song, hear a line and then "Bam!" have an amazing idea.
So I'm intrigued, where do you get your inspiration from?! :giggle:

I'm a big fan of medieval festivals and bands - and thats my inspiration. When I see a great castle, medieval-dressed people on a festival or something like that, I've got many ideas to take photos or to manipulate something. I've got also a lot of inspiration from mother earth^^ Walking through the woods can be very inspiring =)

I get inspired by colors. I don't know why, colors have always fascinated me. When I see something colorful, that machine in my head starts to work at a high speed and now I'm full of ideas! I love colors too much that the soft pink color of my walls seems boring and I want a colorful wallpaper.

Sounds inspire me, as well. Especially rain. When it rains, I like to close my eyes and think. Thinking is the only way to be creative. I love listening to music while I'm doing something. You can just put on your headphones and shoot some pictures.

Like most people, I have galleries full of pictures on my computer. I just look at them sometimes and think how they can be developed.

Travelling, trying out new things are great ways to get inspired. My best photos were taken at vacations.

Books can widen your horizon. Read fantasy books and visualize the scenes in your head. It's a great exercise.

And of course, experience. The older you get, the wider your horizon becomes. So it comes with age, as well.

Traveling always inspires me. I like to look around while I'm in the car; the mountains and oceans around me are really pretty :]
