why take a disposable camera ... if you want to sneak a came in somewhere then take a camera phone. they are kicking out 8Mp with flash much better than a crap $4 disposable. plus they cant take it off you. Problem solved
Disposable cameras usually contain 35mm film cartriges, which are made of metal. They also contain steel springs and sometimes wires and electronics with soldered connections. It depends on how sensitive the detector is set. I'd count on it setting the detector off in places where they are serious about security, but it might not if they are processing huge numbers of tourists every day.
after my holga experience i will never use another toy camera lol. meh im probably just stuck with my cellphone. Not like I would get any good pics anyways.
The only other things I can think of are box cameras, but those would probably set it off, due to the shutter plates. Yeah, I use box cameras for those kinds of photos, also due to a bad Holga experience. I stomped mine to death after the back fell off for the third time on one roll of film.
roflrofl my first 2 rolls of film didnt come out. First one was from hong kong and nobody would develop it, 2nd never went through the camera. The wrist strap actually broke apart from the camera and the camera fell and cracked it. Biggest POS ever, never buying a "new" old camera again much less a toy camera. Holga just fuked it up for everybody.
You bought "Lucky" film, didn't you. There are places that will develop it, but it will take a couple of months. I hate toys. An old Agfa Shur Shot beats the hell out of all of them. Tried yours out yet?
I haven't tried it out yet because I know exactly what I want to do with it for the first time and the time will be coming soon. I have a feeling I know exactly how the pictures from the Agfa are gonna turn out.
I was looking at lucky film actually but didnt buy it lol. Found some pics on deviantart from it and the color looked so out of wack. I went a little overboard with the film, I currently have 4 freezer bags stuffed with all kinds of film sitting in my fridge lol.
