Nikon vs. Canon?

I know it's a personal choice, really.
But maybe you can feed me some knowledge.
Can you specifically state what type of camera you use and why you like your camera (or maybe you don't)?
Or do you know any major differences between Nikon and Canon cameras?

Good point there. Pretty much why I use Nikon. I use two cameras: my dad's COOLPIX L810, which he gave to me, and a Nikon D3000.

I have a Nikon Coolpix L120.

Its pretty affordable for a DSLR. Only $276.95 USA. I really like the 21x optical zoom and since I take a lot of up-close nature and portrait images the quality of the image is really nice. It also has great video quality too and if you are new to photography the settings and menus are very simple to understand.

Its a good camera :)

Nikon has so many cameras that look alike!

I saw a really nice one the other day and I thought that it was a larger L120. About flipped out. XD

I used an OLD Canon AE-1 SLR for my college photography class. I have stuck with Canon since. I use a Rebel T3i now.
