I'm not sure what you mean. You expand your own perspectives by stealing them from others, is that what you're implying? Or by expanding your own perspective, you are imposing it on others? Is the "others" that you're talking about the people whose work you're reading, or is the "others" you're talking about the people who are reading your work? Do you mean others have to expend themselves so you can expand your perspective? I have no idea what you mean.
I like the quote, but I'm still not sure what you mean. It sounds like expansion happens at your own expense, because you have to tear down what you know in order to learn from others. How do you mean it happens at the expense of others?
