Having trouble working out <i> italics when editing a chapter for a story

:icondaydreamerwonderland:
So you put in front of a word or sentence, right? I got that. But after the sentence which I use as a thought, it keeps going after it, causing the rest of the text to be put in italics. How can I just keep one sentence italicized in the body? :/

These forums are for the discussion of literature, writing and the writing process, not really for technical issues. However, it looks like you've had your answer, so this shall be locked :)

FAQ #79: How do I submit Artwork, Flash Animations or Literature? may help if you are new to all of this. Welcome to dA :)
