Your main character's worst fear?

All of my main (and some supporting) characters have one, or several, fears. I think it makes them more realistic and relatable. My main character Ike is terrified of the dark, but he wears all black so that he blends in with it. Another main character in a different book is horrified of horses. So he rides Dragons instead whenever given the chance.

Does anyone else do that? What is your main character's worst fear? If he/she doesn't have one, let's make one up!

Mi OC adolece de cierto vago temor por sobrevivir a las personas que le importan.
Es muy melancólico y vive recordando el pasado.
Al vivir muchos años llena su vida con recuerdos de personas que ya se han ido.
Entonces... le ocurre lo peor que le puede suceder a alguien así...
Gana -por alguna extraña razón- cierta inmortalidad. La eterna juventud...

My main character, Daku, is afraid of getting his best (and only) friend, Reinhart, killed due to his poor decision-making skills and his wild temperament, as Reinhart would do anything to protect him. Altough it's a fear he develops over the course of the story

My main character, Elaerya, is afraid of losing those who she loves. Her mother died when she was eleven and ever since then, she and her older brother have grown very close to each other.
She is also afraid of drowning because she doesn't know how to swim :)

In my Avatar fanfic (sorry, didn't submit it), Akala is afraid of death. Not dying, but actually seeing people she cares about dying or suffering. She witnessed her mother's murder when she was 10 and vowed to protect anyone that is being harmed. If she see's something like that, she starts picturing her mother's dead face.

Never thought about it. ;p

Aisling is afraid of any sharp objects similar to knives, falling in love, losing the people close to her, and not being able to do enough.

David doesn't really have any fears at first, but he's afraid of not being in control, that everything will go wrong, and losing Aisling.
