I'm going to TRY to write a story about a camp for super-powered teens (sort of like camp Half Blood in Percy Jackson and the Olympians), but I need character ideas. I'm planning to put this in the Marvelverse, but I don't want characters that have been used already. Here is a basic for to fill out if you want to help!

Ok, sure.
Name: Laurence Fissure (people often assume Fisher)
Age: 24
Description: 5'9", black hair. The rest you decide.
City(U.S. Only): Pullman, WA
Power(s):Suppression. He can suppress the will of individuals. Uses this to take away their will to fight, but can be used to suppress other things, like the will to be peaceful. How successful this is depends on the drive and power the individual has, and how well it does or does not fit with their personality.
Weapons(if any): None.
Personality:Very quiet, he's the one who works in the background to support. He's the one people go to for advise because he listens and helps them figure out what they really want to do. Interestingly enough, he rarely knows what to do him self, and is very indecisive about his own life.
Likes/Dislikes: He likes Hazelnuts, often has a bag near him. Likes to go hiking and rock climbing. Doesn't like to wear sunscreen or bug spray. Dislikes eating fish. Hates dried fruits.
History: Grew up in a quiet world with a quiet life. Until he went to the camp.

Well, if its a concidence that your character is the same, you just have to deal with it. Character can be resused 1000s of times.

As for the rest, this isn't very good idea. Although you can generate stories out of the characters, the best way though is to come up with your own. Start observing things and base on your own experiences. Youve got a base idea, keep that in mind, and just look around and observe.

I like that you're spending time to develop even the minor characters (which I think gives your story depth).

This forum is generally for advice and discussion, not generating ideas. The best ideas for your story will come from you, the writer, even if they are small pieces of your pie.
