Things you're sick of seeing on the dA front page?

So, the Popular section of the front page is an adventure. There is some great art to admire but there will always be stuff you just cannot see why it's popular or you just hate them.

I'll start:

Yaoi: I hate overly obsessive fujoshis as it is but whenever I see crappy Homestuck or Hetalia yaoi artwork as one of the most popular pics of the day and especially the month makes me facepalm.

My Little Pony: Oh boy, this is where I rage it. It seems ANYONE who draws MLP, even the mediocre artists are automatically guaranteed to get a truckload of comments and favourites just because they drew "OMFG VYNIL SCRATCH!11!!111!!!!" Even though the proportions are terrible and the colouring job sucks. I drew two MLP pics and they are WAY more popular than my other work which I am more proud of. Want heaps more fans? Draw pony porn.

... I don't quite understand why people complain about the front page, as if they're forced to stare at it :shrug: If you're looking for a certain type of art to enjoy, browse that gallery. Of course current trends are going to be on the front page, because the front page merely reflects what is currently popular :lol:

I don't care what the subject is but when I see traced and/ or recoloured shit on the front page I facepalm. :facepalm:

I donīt look at the front page anymore. I like to scroll the newest section. More diversity there.
