so im getting into coloring and im wondering, how do people color like kentarou yabuki

they remind me of copic markers, or maybe im just crazy. im pretty sure they're all done digitally though. what brushes does he use? any ideas? or am i crazy to ask this lol

They use photoshop. It looks like there are layers of gradiented colors under a final layer of cel shading. And then there are tints added over some areas of the pictures.

Look for some tutorials of cell shading. I think that might help.

can this be done with a mouse or do i have to buy a tablet?
when do you have to use a tablet for coloring?

1. you should click reply when you replying to people

2. It's possible with a mouse, just very very tedious and more difficult than if you were to use a tablet. You use a tablet for sketching, lineart and colouring, it's not just used for colouring.

That's digital. And it's not about the brushes, you could do that with the standard brush.
