How to create custom fonts?

Hmm I need to create custom fonts. I'm not asking actually the traditional way..I'm wondering..suppose the letters are not from Latin family, nor even from any existing language family... can be created and integrate with the keyboard's keys (normal ABCDE..)? for example... if press A, there will be the first letter, B second letter etc...

TypeTool is what I use to create fonts if you can get your hands on it. Not sure how much it is since I got it for free when i was a design student.

Of course you can. You can create a font that is just random images. I don't know how to make a font on the computer but a simple google search will probably give you all the info you need.
