No, You Can't Download Adobe CS2 Applications For Free
"You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!
What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don't require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <[link]>." Adobe scientist Dov Isaacs clarifies
So, it doesn't matter whether you download it illegal or install it without paying for it, it's the same guilt ... .____.
No, it's just free. Not all that amazing either. CS2 is so old. Sure it's still handy but there are so many more useful features of the current Photoshop (obviously). Also, a more up-to-date version of the software will harness the power of a computer system built today, e.g. GPU rendering and making more efficient use of RAM.
Yes, because of course, I upload to dA everything I do in Photoshop. Also, everything in my dA gallery definitely indicated that's all that I create in Photoshop.
I'm on no high horse, I'm just saying it's not that incredible since it's such an old piece of software. I've been using PS since version 7, so I've seen the improvements over the years and offering it for free isn't going to be so good when you get down to using it properly.
I bought myself CS5 with a student license in Fall '11. This would have been a bit more convenient money-wise. But, still, I'm glad others get the opportunity to use it for free. That's pretty damn awesome!
