statue repainting.

I have an idea. But I have no idea how viable it is.
so I thought I would ask the art community

If you had a statue or saw one you liked. but the paintwork was all wrong. would you be willing to pay to get it repainted if the service existed?

Maybe the eyes are wrong. its sloppy or the hair is the wrong shade.
Would you be willing to pay to have someone fix it.
If so how much would you be willing to spend realisticly.
Just so I can tell for a actual buisness idea.
Please be honest. I need as much feedback as possible.

Nah, I'd do it myself. Which is probably the response you'll receive from anybody that can paint, so you might want to ask on a site where people aren't artists.

I think that if I were going to spend all this money to buy a statue, have it shipped to a painter and then have it shipped back to me, then it would be very worthwhile to hire a painter who could really bring a figure to life. You aren't there yet.
