Etsy/DaWanda/online shops

I'm playing around with the idea of starting an Etsy/DaWanda/other online shop (I have a zazzle shop but I don't like it that much).

Any recommendations? Is Etsy worth my time and effort? I've heard it's a popular and well known platform but I didn't like all the fees. However, if it's a good platform to get noticed, then I'd gladly do the fees.

What about DaWanda? Any other shops you'd recommend?

I do etsy, having switched from ebay to etsy, I think their .20 per item fee is extremely reasonable.

How much you sell on etsy depends on how active you are there.

I have an Etsy shop [link] and love it. The site is really well run and user friendly. Yes, you have to pay the fees, but it's totally worth it for the kind of visibility you gain from being on that site.

Wow! Very nice shop! Thank you for sharing. I really want to try it, I think I just need a little more variety in my artwork first.

Actually you don't necessarily need variety, in fact sometimes having too much variety can work against you. If the items are too diverse it can make a shop look fragmented and unfocused. Good luck!
