Help With Poses?: Uppercut

Hey there. I'm trying to draw my grandfather a Christmas gift of his favorite sports team mascot uppercutting the opposing teams mascot.
I'm not very good with poses so I was hoping someone could doodle a little something up for me to help with some ideas?
I'm hoping to get a front view of the character that is punching the other guy, but I'm not sure how to do that.

If you want a unique pose, get a friend and a digital camera and snap some photos of you hamming it up doing uppercuts and reactions. It'll be fun and you'll get reference photos that no one else has.

looks good so far, if you want a beast uppercut, google search street fighter shoryukens and use that for reference XD
