Nah I never heard of spanish seafood Paella; to be honest I'm not a big fan of seafood unless it's tuna, haha. Thanks I'm just a student though, if you want to learn about art then you should go to the pro source and study their art:

And don't get depressed by how good the pros are because it took them yeeeeeaaaaaars to get that good. Even most students in 4 year art programs still suck until the end of their education when they start becoming decent (unless they were already badass before school). You just have to learn the right stuff and practice a lot. Look at other peoples art not to get discouraged, but be motivated to produce your own art. It's okay to take a break if you burn out, but eventually it has to become a daily commitment if you want to improve. You'll know once you reach that level because art becomes an addiction. Until then just have fun sketching what you want and remember that anything is possible if you have the time and courage to do it.
Yeah those are the resources I use daily. My school is supposedly competitive because most people get their entry portfolio rejected on the first try (including me). However once you're in the program you can sorta do whatever you want since they give out A's too easily. It's just competitive between students. Most people are at generally the same skill level, but there are about a dozen crazy artists who are always getting their art displayed on the wall. Pushes everybody else to get better. If you're curious my school has a blog linking to most of the student work. [link]
1. draw while eating nachos and salsa with intense music playing in the background 2. draw more 3. take a quick break, look at cghub, oh f*** 4. digi paint 5. look at DeviantART, oh s*** 6. pass out. did the world end? I wouldn't know...
Oh yeah nachos are delicious. I like them best with melted cheese on top but most of the time I'm too lazy so I just eat them with the spicy salsa haha! And I oh s*** when I look at DeviantART because I keep finding these crazy artists who put in these crazy hours, so it reminds me I have to draw as much as them if I want to reach their level some day.
