help i need to a Sai .tmp file!!!

so my computer crashed right as i was saving my school project. the file became a .tmp file and when i open it in notepad all it shows is html codes.
How do i fix this and get my image back?

Hi,
As MysteryPuppy said, you could try changing the file name to something like temp.sai or temp.xpg (I think that's the other native sai file format.) and see if sai will open it.

try to convert the file to a .psd or a .sai (whatever you use to preserve layers) if that doesn't work, I'm very sorry but I can't help you further ):

well it seems the file is completely gone. so im using the backup pics i made last night for my new project. thanks anyway though

try opening it with another program then save it thats all i can think of otherwise i am sorry to say but you might have to start over
