In a few months I'm going to do an art project for a contest. But I'm trying to find which markers would give me vivid, easy to blend colors. And what would be a good kind of paper in which marker ink won't bleed through or smear?
Well, Copic or Prismacolour markers would be great--- I also like Chromatix. I've only got experience with some Copic CIAO pens and then many Chromatix ones. I use markers in addition with my prismacolour pencils.
And Bristol Vellum is my favourite heavy weight paper for inking/markers. But any real heavyweight(not printer paper, and I think at least 60lb or higher(higher preferably) piece of paper should do well as far as bleeding and smearing goes.
Thank you so much. I think I'm going with Chromatix. They color real well and are inexpensive compared to Copic and Prismacolor. Hopefully I'll buy to start on my submission ASAP. Thank you again.
