Stick people- bad?

I had a friend of mine say that stick people are the lowest form of art. I don't think that. Pretty much the only thing I draw is stick people. I admit, I'm not the best at drawing stick people, but I do it because I enjoy it. Do you think that stick people are the lowest forms of art?

There isn't anything wrong with drawing stick figures. You just have to make them look a little neater and a little more fluid. There are many animations out there that are really cool even though they're drawn in stick-men style.

But then again, most stick men artists who are professionals went through art training which is why they're so good at them. I suggests that you try drawing other stuff first. You can still draw stick men. You just have to study more art forms so they could look a little more professional.

But yeah. Go ahead. Just because your friend doesn't like the way you draw doesn't mean you should stop drawing. Draw what you please.

It sounds like you're feeling a little self-conscious about your work because of what your friend said about stick figures. That's goo. You should feel like that. Are you drawing with a mouse? Yikes.
