Hey, I see pictures all DA around of those lovely Asian ball jointed dolls and I'm interested in investing in one...but I don't know where to start! Anyone know a reliable site to buy parts from, or can refer me to someone who has one so they can tell me where they bought it? There are so many websites out there and these things are expensive, I'd like some feedback on good sites(Or even if someone on DA sells parts). Anyone?

I don't know man, you should probably buy one that cames with a head, unless you have a really macabre doll planned

Hey there!
denofangels.com is one of the biggest forum for BJD.
I purchase&sell almost all my dolls there, and other times I buy directly from BJD companies online.
Some people buy&sell second hand dolls through ebay but some of them are bit over priced...
I also am currently selling Volks SD10 "10th Anniversary" Kira. Please check it out on my flickr [link] :)

I started BJD hobby back in 2007, and my first doll was from Korean company Dream of Doll, and my current obsession is Volks dolls.
To name few of the BJD companies, there are: Luts, Crobidoll, Switch, Bluefairy, Dollmore, Rosenlied, Supiadoll, migidoll, dollstown, souldoll....the list goes on and on.

Good luck adopting your first baby!
