ink pencils - any experiences?

i recently saw that there are these ink pencils, that some kind of work like watercolor pencils but, well, a little different.
i really enjoy drawing with watercolor pencils, got my favourite brand since three or four years now, and really want to try these ink-things out.
but they're not that cheap, so i wanted to ask you people if you have any experiences using them,if it's worth the buy and if they really look that different from watercolor pencils and such things =)

You mean Derwent Inktense pencils? I've used them alongside Derwents regular watercolor pencils and I find the sets compliment each other really well.

They're similar to watercolor pencils, however, unlike watercolor pencils, they're permanent once they've dried, like ink.

There's also a bigger color shift. They get brighter when water is applied.

I don't have any yet, but I plan on getting some. All my info comes from the research I've done on m own.

Hi,
I had never heard of these but apparently the main attributes are:
1) write/draws like a pencil
2) intense color in some cases
3) bleeds a bit when wet then dries to be waterproof
4) not erasable like a pencil

Here is a review of one brand: [link]
