What's with all of the My Little Pony artwork?

What's with the My Little Pony obsession? I'm 23 so maybe I'm just old and have missed a trend ( :b ) but why all of the My Little Pony art? I collected My Little Ponies as a teen, but I was the only one that I knew of that did at that age. Why the risen interest?

It's a popular TV programme, therefore a lot of people draw fanart of it. Same as Pokemon. :shrug:

One thing that helps fuel the vast amount of fanart of both series is the fact that many people think that the simple styles are easy to draw.

There was a reboot of the franchise a while back and it's gotten really popular as it's a pretty decent cartoon and so it's gained a large internet fanbase. MLP has always been popular but until the new version came out the fanbase although quite big was I think a fair bit more 'quiet' than it was before hand.

The show is actually pretty great and well done. I'm not a fan of it as others may be, but I can see why the show generated so many fans (and in turn, so much artwork).

Any show that strikes a chord with adults and teens as much as with kids earns a thumbs up in my books, imho. I mean how often does that happen otherwise?

lol one of my friends was just asking about this earlier XDDD it's because of the show "my little pony: friendship is magic." i haven't seen it yet but i heard that it was really funny and attracted a lot of older viewers than the target audience!!!

pey your the sad one i kinda like it am 22 two so kinda rude call a show sad if you dont like and respct a show if you like it or not beause a adult know when it time to shut up or not to say rude thigs

I wasn't rude, to put it in simpler terms I said since I was older I wasn't "hip" to whatever new trends out there. I never said it was stupid to like it as an adult.

70 percent of the show fans are men who ar ein there 40 that why there big fight war thing allot made bronies allot girly men who are in 40 so be careful what you post online
