When doing digital art commissions, does it include the print? Or are you basically just drawing them what they want and then they can decided what to do with it?
Also, if commissions don't typically include a print, how do you get the commission to the customer? Email? Post it on deviantart? Etsy?
I personally just email a high DPI version of the work to the buyer so that they can get it printed locally if they so choose. That way the buyer gets to choose the size and finish, and there's no hassle of having to ship it to them.
I think it's seen as acceptable to do either, tbh. I've bought commissions from people and some have posted the print to me but most of the time there is no print included, the commissions are normally posted on DA. As long as you make it clear exactly what's included in your commissions it should be fine.: )
