Can you think of any ideas that you've had in the past for projects? Maybe take something that never got off the ground and work with that. That way, you'll already have a jumping off point and I'm sure by the time you're finished, this blimp will be over. They usually don't last too long.
That one's easy! I see it in people, sometimes I see someone I just HAVE to draw.. Riding a train seems inspiring to me somehow (I also ride the train in my dreams REALLY often), I guess what makes you feel good and makes you want to draw instantly + what you dream about makes why you want to do art.
Fellow artists! Please follow the link posted below to support Houston based artist indaco. He can land an art show by getting the most "likes" in a facebook picture!!! His picture is awesome; a surreal moment where a newspaper background turns into gas masked people!! Check it out and support!! Thank you and good luck to all of you!!
My desire for self-expression motivates me to create art. My wish to become better and make my ideas justice is what motivates me to practice and learn. Two separate processes, both very important.
Just seeing random things. The other day I saw a guy skateboarding and I came up with this entire new world order post-apocalyptic scene in my head as an idea for a piece and when I got home I got to work.
Generally I'm just at work and something pops into my head. Whenever this happens I write it on a sticky and by the end of the week I have quite a lot of ideas for writing/drawing.
Peace of mind and you have even more motivation when you work for a bit at a job you hate but like one poster said sometimes you need a break evaluate some things and get back into it
My motivation is usually trying to be able to "say" what words cannot say. Inspiring thoughts, stories, dreams, people. A particular expression in someone. Feelings. A particolar vision I have about something. An inner portrait.
