I'm thinking to make commissions/adoptables and auctions for $ one day.Points too, but I already figured that out.

-but what I'm wondering about..how do people PAY for the commissions..? I know about paypal.. how does it work? Do I give them my email? ( I just thought thats a bitt unsafe to give out email to many people?)I'm sorry if this is one obvious answer, but everyone I've asked never answer me...so is it rude to ask this?:/

thx

You can create a PayPal account with your personal e-mail address and then add another e-mail address to be associated with that account also. Just create a Yahoo e-mail for your art commissions. If you already have a Yahoo e-mail account, you can add an extra e-mail address with that same account so you can collect e-mails from both accounts into one inbox.

But every e-mail that's used for payment is your PayPal e-mail... Any address you put in your account can be used to log into PayPal. There's not one login and one payment e-mail - they're all the same thing. I just tested it with one of my alternative e-mails and sure thing, I logged in.

Just add your artist commission e-mail to PayPal and give that to the client when it's time to pay up. This is what I've been doing. I do freelance logo design and I just give my clients my second e-mail on PayPal for my design stuff. Or you can do it the hard way and just create a new Yahoo e-mail account and make a separate PayPal account with that. You don't have to worry about getting hacked or anything. PayPal is pretty secure. Always make sure that if you get an e-mail from PayPal and it redirects you to a site that looks like PayPal, it should always have "https" on the left side of the url instead of the standard http.
