How to make money on DeviantArt?

Hello, everybody.

I'm almost broke, and I was hoping to sell my artwork online, but no one is interested to buy it.

So, how do I do this?

Should I open up commissions, or what?

You probably wont make a living on this site, unless you have some new ideas, be they funny, beautiful or just innovative.

I found this tutorial [link] for offering commissions and you should definitely check that out and give it a try. Never give up! ^^

Unless you're really, really amazing at drawing and painting like some of the really popular artists here (artgerm, Dahlig), you're not going to be making money here. Most people here are broke as well.

DA is the worst place to look for money. Everyone else is a broke artist too. And the important part there is "artist" most people here make their own art, not buy it from others.
