Not talented. Still stubborn.

Hello!

I wonder what do you think about people that are not really talented but they are very, very stubborn, they don't give up and still submit their drawings on the Internet.

Are they unware, brave, stupid, deserved for recognition?
You rather like or hate them?

I also think it's admirable. Improvement comes from practicing over and over again, looking for new techniques or styles to implement, receiving constructive criticism, etc. Ha... I could say I started out in the pool of "not really talented", and while I still have a long ways to go, I have improved, and still enjoy it- and that's what matters.

I think it ought to depend on the effort they put into their art pieces. If they submit, but put no effort, I can not care less.
However, the good thing I love about dA is that people, even if they aren't talented, submit their best to gain feedback. I hear many stories of ametures going professional through support on this site and I'd encourage those who are really determind and hard working to keep posting, whatever the skill level. Good feed back goes a long way.
Anyone who submits their work (unless they're spammer lol) I would consider brave. Feed back isn't necessarily easy to take. There is critisism necessary to improve but often, many artist's lose they're courage when they hear it. Those who keep submitting are taking the heat and trying to improve. It's admirable. :)

I'll just leave this Einstein quote here “Genius is 1% talent and 99% percent hard work...”

Talent is just backlogged stubborness. You have to keep at it to get anywhere. Burn on you crazy diamonds.

How about, they are more likely to succeed than the people with talent, who think that means they do not have to work, practice, or learn the basics to be good.

Submitting work to internet is not an sufficient criteria to judge their motives or "talents". Talent only emerges after we trained to utilize it, no one can become an artist or scientist or athlete by just "talent". Please keep in mind that internet or image boards are public places, talent is not an arbitrary standard to disqualify anyone from accessing that public place, nor does it impose any moral judgement on those who post their work. Just as you cannot stop people whom are not talented in sports from going to gyms.
