It depends what you want..Digital, Traditional, paintings..

I used to draw all the time on the paper, and scanned..but then I heard about Wacom tablet..I'm not only using my tablet, it was hard to use the tablet at first, because I had to look at the screen, and not the tablet( I had this tablet i cant look at while drawing).
I never draw on paper anymore, and I CANT draw anymore on paper...only digital.

Your question doesn't give us enough to work with! Paper and tablet do different things.

What do you want to do with your art?

Paper. There’s no such simple thing as paper: you can draw everywhere, everything, at any time! When I bought my tablet, I thought it will help me a lot, it will open a new dimension. Sadly, it’s not—it’s just another tool with another pros and cons. In my humble opinion, paper is better.

A tablet is definitely super fun a very useful because you can get so many different results! I have used both and still haven't gotten used to the tablet, but I say buy one. You can learn a lot from using it even regarding your traditional artwork. ^^

Both have their pros and cons; for the longest time I would sketch on paper, scan it, then color with a tablet, but putting forth a lot of work, I'm able to sketch with a tablet. Sketching with a tablet is pretty nice, especially if you work with Photoshop and Sai, you can get rid of the sketched layers when you start working on your piece. However, paper is definitely better with accuracy, and in the end, it's which one you're most comfortable drawing with. Both take time and patience to improve.

Papers easier and cheaper, but a tablet is nice since its for one less expensive, since you only have to buy the tablet and maybe programs unless your get them illegally. And you can imitate other mediums. But traiditonal art I think always looks nicer in my opinion.

Depends on who you are and what you prefer. I usually prefer drawing on paper, but I do also use my tablet once in a while.
I don't think it's something where you should be affected by other people's opinions, cause it differs from person to person. It might be fun for you to try out a tablet though, and even though I don't usually use mine that much, I'm still glad I have it. o^__^o)

Depends on who you ask really. My guess is such a poll would be split down the middle.
