Serious feed back!

:iconcrimsonmimix:
Willing to give out serious feedback on art. As long as I receive some as well.
I really want to advance in my art, but since it's nearly impossible to get noticed on DA because of how VAST it is. I'm gunna whore myself out on here. XDDD

So! Please help me out. I'll help you out as well. Only if you ask for it.

You are drawing and that is important, whether it's good or bad isn't important right now. That comes with time and experience. The more you draw everything you see, in different ways, the more you will improve greatly... or else you will be stagnant in what you create. For example, place a banana on a table and draw it 10 times. 10 ways. 10 angles and perspectives. 10 different mediums. Then combine some of your better mediums and do the same banana and see what you come up with. I promise you, you will never see a banana the same way again...and whenever you draw a banana, you will draw it's essence and it's form. Not just its anime form. You feel me? I hope this helps.

Hmmm... Took a look. I'm not very good with critique, but... I'll try! ^-^" Lots of room for improvement. You need to work on your lineart, it's very messy. Also, anatomy. The necks, waists, and faces all look kind of off to me... And your shading looks... weird. I like your pic of the dragon, though. Care to take a look at some of my stuff? c:

You're not going to get noticed until you get better and you develop a more unique art style. Right now your work has very little going for it in terms of technical skill, and nothing to differentiate it from the droves of similar quality material. I don't see anything unique; just the same generic anime people and pictures of dragons with no real defining characteristics.

I took a peak, and I think you have lots of room for improvement, and I hope you don't take offense to that. You have to work on proportions, fore shortening and what not. I suggest drawing people for practice, be it you friends, family, or image of celebrities from magazines. Getting skilled at drawing realistically well improve your overall style, be it realistic or cartoonish.

I absolutely do not take offense. I know I'm not at my 100% best. Being self taught it hard for me because I have NO clue about techniques and I lack skill. So, no offending here. XDD

Kay. Looking at real life figures. Thank you! :D

Do you want me to critique one art piece, or your art/style in general?

Either, or both.

Your faces are a bit out of proportion; I get the stylization you're trying to use is big eyes/irises, but it helps to look at how actual faces are and keeping it in mind when you draw. Your waists are (in your profile drawings anyway) a bit too narrow- again with the stylizing and realism. The figure you use for females is pretty generic in each picture- small waist, big chest, skinny- but I don't think that they're individually too bad.
It feels harsh to say that though, because I'm not any better than you are. xD Your shading is absolutely lovely, and so is your fabic/outfit drawing.
My gallery's kind of outdated at the moment, but um, feel free to do the same back c:
