It feels a little unfair, really..

All the time, I see people who either upload doodles, or art with no content or ability and have so many watchers, but I'm beginning to feel insecure as an artist, who tries to put a little of my heart into what I make. I *try* really hard to do what I can about my ability, as I'm not a professional, but it seems like no one really sees my artwork. A while back, I saw someone who did nothing but art I could have make in two minutes or so having fifty watchers. What are they doing that I'm failing at?

i know how you feel, it's hard to get reconized. i don't get a lot of views but it's not really for popularity, it's more so i can get tips to improve

Most of it is really networking and socializing, although original artwork seems to be more difficult to get noticed than fan art. I don't get many views, either - but I'm not very social.

Oh no ! You shouldn't be doing your Craft for views and silly numbers. Do it only for you and let the observers come when they are ready to see into "you" and "what you are trying to show them". The times as an artist when worry about why we do what we do yet continue on are what make us different from them. The creators and the created baby. Keep on creating 'cuz we LOVE what you do. I hope this helps.
