Do you draw anime or manga?
If so, could you give me some tips?
And if you were to look at my artwork, I would love any tips or crtisism.
Also with my group TSOAC-Studios. We all like honest crtisism.

Hmm...

What I'd suggest you to do is to aim to draw as realistically as possible, including anatomy and whatnot. Because if you don't know where things are realistically, then you are going to have pie in your face when it comes to anime/manga. Just keep practicing, load up on a crap ton of tutorials, and every now again, make a pose and draw yourself as closely as you can. Try before anything to get structure right first then you can build up on that.

Once you figured out your anatomy, that's when the real fun begins. Here, look at the works of others, see what you lie and what you don't and apply it onto your own. I don't mean that you completely take on someone else's style, but use them as a guide. Whenever you try to draw something, ALWAYS refers to something similar in real life. If it something that you can find, take out every detail of it's construction. Begin to think of objects as shapes and structures rather than an outline. How can you build a skyscraper if you don't build the structure correctly?

When you think your lineart is ready, then you can start focusing on colours and shading. Notice how light and darkness can affect colour. It helps a lot.

Finally, watch people who are better than you, don't get discouraged by awesome works, be encouraged and motivated and think that one day, you'll get there. Befriend them if you can. After all, If you want to get better, you need "competition and inspiration", someone from which you can draw inspiration from, and once you find them, you will grow faster.

Keep this in mind though, drawing good takes time. A lot of time and frustration. I've been drawing manga for only a year or two, and I'm still far from what I want to be. Make sure you can prepare yourself for the road ahead, and don't let mistakes faze you, rather, turn them into lessons well learned.

I think that's all I need to say. ^^;

K. Well for starters, draw hands. If you're scared to, look at your favorite manga for hand references and copy them until you have a better idea how to draw them. Also, look at your own hands and visualise them as groups of ovals. That helps.

Yeah.
I noticed something in manga. They draw a part of the hand by the thumb that doesn't show up on my hand unless the thumb crosses past the pointer finger...

Yep, they already know how to draw hands realistically but they stylize that part of the hand because they feel like it. They can actually afford to be flexible with their drawing style, because they've already proven themselves to publishers, which is why they have their jobs in the first place :D
