Quick Help with Photoshop Color (Is that a program? If it is, it isn't here)

I have a background like this: all pink. I want it split into three parts, like a flag (France or Italy, for example). Each part will have a different color. I don't want the colors blended, just like the flags mentioned. And I don't want to create a flag-like effect, by the way. ^ ^

How do I do this on Photoshop? Thank you in advance!

There is a little rectangular selection tool in your toolbox.

Use that and your color fill.

Or just use the shape tool to make rectangles/etc. You choose the color for that in the picker on the toolbar. Each shape gets a new layer so you may have to flatten it when you are done.

You have Photoshop? Go get the shape tool, click and hold, press the square, click and drag. Choosing a colour. Bam.
