Any tips for improving free hand lines in PS?

I've been trying to get cleaner, crisper, smoother lines free hand in Photoshop. Any tips?

I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet if that makes any difference.

Well, depending upon what you want to accomplish, the cleanest crispest lines come from paths, infinitely sharp and crisp as a matter of fact. But, that's really only useful for the comics, not for regular line drawings.

For that, I normally draw on paper and scan into PS and convert all the lines into paths. But that's for stylistic reasons as I like to have ragged edges, which is not what you want.

Umm...
Move your elbow rather than wrist while drawing?
Work in higher resolution?
Hard edged brush without any opacity or jitter or anything else?
