Help with using Gimp and Paint Tool Sai

Hello! I'm Li-ten and I'm mostly a traditional artist trying to do digital art too. I use gimp and still a new with Paint Tool Sai. I was wondering if anyone has any tips with drawing digital (without a tablet). I mostly scan my sketches and open it in a file with the program I am using.

For using a mouse, the stabilizer in Paint Tool Sai is very useful! It makes smooth lines by slowing down the mouse when you draw. It's at the top bar on your workspace in SAI (under the system options like file, selection, etc) You can set sabilizer from 0 to S-7! I hope it helps (*´∀`*)

I would love to give you some tips dear, but the only tip I can give you right now is to save up for a tablet. :3

I did a tutorial on the paths tool which makes perfect lines with a mouse. It takes some practice getting used to it, though.
