A quesiton about the eraser of the Wacom Intuos pen in Photoshop?

I still have trouble to figure out how can I use the eraser function of the Wacom Intuos pen in Photoshop. What I expect is for it to work just like the eraser on a pencil.
Instead it seems to be just a thiker nib. Do you use it?

It should work when you flip it over. Go into your tablet settings and look at them. If you can't find a way to fix it try reinstalling the drivers.

It also bases itself on what settings you are currently using on the eraser tool.

Check your stylus settings. Make sure that the eraser end is set to erase if that's what you want it to do. Any of the buttons, including that one can be customized to whatever tool you want, so chances are, if it isn't doing what you want, it's set to something else.
