I can't save as jpeg anymore in photoshop, help

I have photoshop cs6 and I suddenly can't save as jpeg anymore. When I click Save As I only have a couple of options left, weird files like raw and psb, together with psd. How do I save to jpeg??? It did work normally with Save As before.

When that happens, it is because your document is in a certain color mode or higher bit depth. Go to Image > Mode and see which settings are checked. You are most likely in 16- or 32-bit.

psb sounds like you have a large file, because psb is the Photoshop Big File format. Um, if you want jpeg, you could try the Save For Web dialogue if that isn't greyed out. Otherwise try to scale your image down a bit before saving.

Why would you save as a jpeg anyway? .PNG is so much better.
