Photoshop Elements 9

What are your opinions on this program? It's the one I'm currently using and so far has been the best so far. So I'm wondering how it's worked for others.

Hey Gloomy,
I used PSE9 for a couple years, along with GIMP, and it was a darn good program. I especially loved the selection brush tool! You've got plenty of tools available in that program, so don't sell it short. And your time will not be wasted, because when you upgrade to the full Photoshop, your skills will transfer directly.

It gets the job done. Still hoping to get actual PS so I can use some of the really awesome functionality.

I'm using PSE 7, but I don't think 9 is that dfferent.
Photoshop is great in general, no matter which version you're using.
