I'm trying to start a webcomic.

But I slightly suck at it, I have been practicing allot and what not. I'm trying to learn how to just use my tablet without lineart sketches because my scanner is pretty much broken.

One advice is draw a lot of pages BEFORE you start uploading it on the internet...it's really annoying when someone starts a webcomic and you get excited to read it, and then they stop after page two.

Do you have a camera or even a webcam?

Because what you can do is draw by hand, photograph them, then just trace the lines digitally to get the nice clean lines. Then it doesn't matter if the photo is crap or you have to resize it so it blurs, because you're tracing the lineart anyway. Then the original drawing is by hand and so it's a simple trace job

It's not a done practice with scanners being so available, and photograph quality often being crap, but if you're going to trace it that doesn't matter anyway XD

Yeah, I've been switching up tools till I find one I'm most comfortable with.

I've been doing that I find it funny how my picture I draw by hand are allot leaner then on the computer.

Leaner, or cleaner? And if you're using Sai, the pencil tool is pretty good for sketching.

Leaner sorry about that I prefer less leaner. I use the pencil tool so much I've been using the pen tool to ink it, and sometimes the brush tool for shading.
