I realize there is another topic here with the same problem, but one of the comments say it's locked, so I thought I'd just start my own.
Anyway, this is driving me crazy. It always just stops working randomly, and I've tried everything I can think of. Reinstalling driver, unplugging and plugging in, restarting laptop, trying out different brushes, going to preferences/options. Nothing's worked and I don't know why.
I am using a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, with Photoshop Elements 8.0. Right now, the pressure sensitivity works with the eraser, but not the brush, which is kind of weird - I'd expect it to either work or not work at all. I could try drawing with the eraser, but I'd still like to fix this.
Same happened to my old tablet. when i had used it for 2 hours straight it would start to fuck up when i drew and grab things instead of drawing.. really annoying. It was 3-4 years old though and ive been losing water and beer over it many times :] solution = get a new tablet if its old. if its new = go talk to the guys in the store and mabye get a new.
Go to your Bamboo Preference File Utility, and click on Remove under My Preferences. That always seems to fix everything that goes wrong with my tablet
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind the next time my tablet goes crazy. Always nice to have more things to try, the last time it stopped working all I could do was uninstall and install the programs/drivers, haha.
Heya, I had sensitivity problems when I bought my new computer and tried to use my Intuos 4 with it. What I did to fix it was, uninstall all wacom software from your computer. Second of all, you've already re-installed your driver but make sure it's the latest one and try uninstall/reinstall it once all your wacom stuff is deleted. Once you've downloaded the new driver, re-start your computer. Install your wacom again if it came with a CD etc or just download the programme from the Wacom site. That hopefully should fix the problem!
Hey, thanks a lot for the reply. c: I uninstalled all the Wacom software like you suggested, but it's been a long time since I got it and I'm not sure where I placed the CD for installation. I cannot find the program for download on the Wacom site, it only seems to have drivers there; do you mind helping me locate the part of the site that lets you download the programs itself, and not the drivers?
Sad! Do you have another computer to test this on? If you can plug the tablet into another computer and it works you know it's a software problem. If it doesn't work here either it may be the tablet itself! Goodluck I won't be able to respond for 10 days now (holiday)

Any ideas? Thanks for reading.
