I'm using my sister's MAC and I tried installing an old photoshop element program that I had from a while back but it didn't seem to work. So my question is, what's a good program get that is able to be installed in the MAC?

Try out Painter 12. :) I use that on a Mac and it runs very well. [link]

Probably just got the Windows version of that disc.

Photoshop, Corel Painter, Gimp, Sketchbook Pro/ Sketchbook Express, Firealpaca, Artrage, Inkscape, Manga Studio, Clip Studio Lab, pixelmator, Inking

The ones I bolded are either free or have lite editions that are free on their respected sites.

Lots of programs work with Mac, but you have to have the Mac version. If your Photoshop Elements is for Windows, it'd explain why it didn't work.

well photoshop would work, but the best program to use would be whatever refund program the store is doing. Macs are the basic of the basics when it comes to computing, there's very little to go wrong. So if something doens't work then it's probably a defective model. Get a refund on the mac, then use the money to buy a nice big yacht and a house in Monaco.

. . . Oh and a PC :D

I wouldn't return an entire computer just because one app couldn't be installed...
It's more likely she tried to install an old version that doesn't meet the system requirements or she tried a Windows disk.

Personally I'd return it because it's a mac but each to their own. . .
